In our last worship dance group meet up we explored how God is creative and he created us to create to reveal his glory. We did some choreograph and learned a little about tools for making our own. Here is some of what we discusses.

Revealing His Glory

Our God is a creative God and we are created in his image to also be creators. Throughout scripture God has used different art forms to convey his Glory. From the beauty of nature and our surroundings to the use of poetry and metaphors in the Bible. He has captivated us. He also uses others and given them a spirit to create with wisdom and knowledge to reveal his glory. 

Psalm 19:1-6

¹ The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
² Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
³ There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
⁴ Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
⁵ which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
⁶ Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

• Through art God reveals himself and speaks to our soul. 

Exodus 31:3-5

³ and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, ⁴ to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, ⁵ in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.

• God gives others the ability and knowledge to design to reveal his Glory. 

Isaiah 43:7 

Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”

• We were created by God for his glory. 

Ephesians 2:10 

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance,and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
